Writing and
speaking
A conversation worth continuing?
I am interested in the questions that sit between organisations, disciplines and established ways of working. The questions that do not belong neatly to anyone, but shape what children and young people experience.
Research, writing and speaking give me different ways to examine those questions, connect knowledge that often sits apart and invite other people into the conversation.
Research and strategic inquiry
Research forms part of my strategic consultancy and programme development. I draw on published evidence, lived and professional knowledge, and perspectives from across a system to understand a question more fully and inform what happens next.

Writing
I write about education, SEND, leadership, organisational culture and the relationships that allow systems to work as they should.
Some pieces begin with my own experience, others emerge from research, conversations or questions I am still exploring. I try to write with care, remain honest about what is not yet known and leave room for other perspectives.
Speaking
I speak at conferences, leadership gatherings and other events in the UK and internationally. My contribution is shaped around the audience and the question being explored, rather than a standard talk delivered in every setting.
